Praise reports
We praise God that the builder is feeling much better and should be starting work again this week.
We also want to thank God for the rain. Even though it slows work and makes transport to the farm difficult it is good for the crops and it is just what our trees needed.
Also with the wet weather Daniel has been slashing the grass and has been killing many snakes so we also thank God for protecting the people at the farm.

Wet and rainy
The past number of days it has been very wet and rainy.
The road on the land that was just done seems to be holding up well but the roads through the compound that we must take in order to reach the land are nearly impassable.

Sickness
This past week we did not make much progress on the building. Our builder was very sick. We thank God that he is beginning to feel better.
There has been a lot of sickness this year, with a very high number of cases of malaria. Please pray for good health for all those who are helping with the ministry and the Sonshine farm.

Prayer requests
There are people who have planted maize and other things on the land and mostly that is ok. The only problem is that some of our trees were planted in a few of those fields.
Most of our trees are doing well but some of the Moringa have needed to be replanted due to confusion with the maize fields. Please pray that the tress will grow well.
We have also written several letters to local businesses asking for their support. Please pray that God would move their hearts to help in whatever way they are able.

Building and Latrine
In this new building style all the sand must be washed and clear through a sift.
We have also started digging the pit for the latrine.

Road part two
In a previous blog I wrote how I finally was able to drive to the land. In this post I just want to show how much work the road actually is.
First they have to slash all the grass by hand. |
Then, using a hoe, they clear away all the grass. |
The ladies are the ones doing the road and working very hard! |
